Couture makes me a bit sad – all that amazing handiwork is always out of reach for 99.9% of regular mortals as we will never have the money or the occasion to wear couture. But couture gowns are what dreams are made of, so it’s hard to resist a peek anyway. I’m sure we’ll get to see one of Elie Saab’s candy coloured creations on that lucky 0.1% at some award ceremony very soon.

Ok, so I’m fully aware it’s been far too long since either of us updated this motherfucker, so sorry about that. We have been seriously lacking in time and inspiration, but sometimes you get yanked into action, and I guess that’s what happened when I saw this seriously bananas editorial by Bill Owens. Elle is the least annoying of the Fanning sisters, so I don’t begrudge her the Rodarte creations too much. Lets hope this flooding of inspiration lasts.
