500 Days Of Summer

January 20, 2010

I never usually fall hard for new films, but 500 Days of Summer really sat with me, mainly because of how it looked. Sure, it’s a cute story, it’s not too predictable and it is funny, but I loved it for the illustrations, the soft light and colours. Worth seeing, I say. Also, the soundtrack is pretty good, featuring Feist, The Temper Trap,  The Smiths, Regina Spektor, Mrs French President Carla Bruni and karaoke tracks by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel.

It’s a very aesthetic movie, yes. I like pretty much everything about it.
