New Moon Soundtrack

October 17, 2009

So I am in theory a little too old to be fanatical about Twilight, but I have always been more about practice than theory anyway. I can’t bloody wait for New Moon to come out, and the soundtrack is looking pretty good too! The soundtrack to the first film had some great songs on it, though it all was a bit emo/new metal for me. This time around they have managed to get original recordings from a stonking list of artists, including Lykke Li, Thom Yorke, Bon Iver & St Vincent, Grizzly Bear and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. I am mostly excited about BRMC, they completely fell off my radar after the first two albums to be honest, but they are bloody amazing and I can’t believe it took a vampire film to bring them back into my life, but there you have it. The whole soundtrack can be previewed on myspace, but it is already out in the shops so go on, support your favourite artists and buy the album now! While we wait for the film to come out, here is a gratuitous photo of R-Patz.
